Doodles ✿

Last night I was doodling and I thought that you all, my wonderful little daisies, would enjoy them! They all looked better in pencil but I had to outline them in ink so that it would show up on the scanner.

New Art

Today I was feeling artsy on this hot summer day, so I decided to draw! I really wanted to watercolor paint these drawings but the pen I always use starts to bleed when the water touches it, so I just left them white.

I also made all three of these drawings my ads/buttons, so if you want to spread the love of "thee dizzy daisy" you should definitely consider adding one of my ads to your blog! I love ad-swapping so hit me up if you want me to spread some of your love ✌

Skull Art

So over the weekend I was very very bored so I decided to draw/ paint something! I decided to draw a skull so I looked up "skulls" on google images and found the image on the left and my results are on the right.

I drew the skull and its features and then began painting in the eyes with black paint because I thought that would be the easiest to paint first.

After that I outlined the head and all of the other features very lightly because I was going to go over everything twice.

Here's the second layer and the finished piece!

Viola! It was really fun to draw and paint, and I am still contemplating on whether I want to draw cross bones, but I don't want to ruin it if I do... We shall see!

Collage Glue

When I was younger I was in this art class and one day we made collage bookmarks and I love mine! I still use it all the time because its so pretty! For my dad's birthday I decided that I wanted to make him a collage! I have wanted to make another collage for a long time but I couldn't remember what type of glue was used to keep the paper down and that would dry clear/ not cover up the photos.

Some people could think I'm really stupid like "why didn't you just use watered down glue? Duh." and the answer why is because I just wasn't sure and if I was going to make a collage I wanted it to look nice the first time instead of using up all that time for nothing. So for all the people who are unsure (like me), here is a clarification, which is watered down glue.

1) Take your glue and pour it out onto a plate

2) Add water to it and start mixing it, adding more and more water until its "liquidy" instead of sticky

3) Apply to your collage with a paintbrush as demonstrated

4) Let it be so it can dry! It can look a little wet and bubbly but when it dries there are no traces of the bubbles!

Here is my masterpiece! I am very excited to give it to my dad!
